I'm sorry your MIL is being a pain. My dad is like that. I always get "get over it" vibes from him. He just doesn't understand that while he can act like he never lost a daughter...I can't.

Are you going to do something special for Jessica's angelversary?

Aww, Claire. I get a "get over it" vibe from just about everyone. I'm sorry your MIL is behaving this way.

I think celebrating her angelversary by getting a little something for her tree is beautiful. DH and I are planning on planting a tree for Noah at some point soon. Noah's angelversary is approaching (mixed emotions here ... still mourning his loss while looking forward to Julia's 1st birthday ... I have no clue how to behave), so I can relate to how you are probably feeling

Hugs to you, hon.

I'm sorry your mil is being so horrible. A gift for her tree sounds lovely It certainly doesn't get easier on that day as the years go on, harder in a way since the amount of people that expect you to 'get over it' gets bigger and bigger. Big hugs to you Claire!

I'm sorry your having a tough time. I don't think any should give us the "get over it" vibe, but they just don't know what it's like.
