I woke up in a cold sweat and couldn't get back to sleep for a long time. I can't even come to say what it was about, but I need to get it off my chest. I'm just so terrified.

I had a horrible nightmare that I went in for my check up and there was no heartbeat

Please tell me this was just a nightmare and not some sort of intuition. I guess I have been worrying these last few days because I know my app't is coming up next week and I am pretty nervous, so maybe that just somehow incorporated itself into my dream? UGH...

I am sure this is one of the most common aftershocks during subsequent pregnancies. I have had them and the night before last I had a terrible very realistic dream that on top of all my other problems Vera died and I had to labor and give birth to her too...I woke up feeling so sad and empty. I'm sure they really kick in approaching the GA of our loss and creep up again as birth is imminent in the third trimester. *hugs*

Yea, I finally started feeling the soft flutters about a week ago. Then I haven't felt them for the past couple of days...I *think* I've felt them today again slightly, but I think the last few days I've been really stressed because I've been very focussed on trying to feel them.

Deep down I have a great feeling about this pregnancy, but this nightmare just scared the ***** out of me, because I've been having so many wonderful dreams lately and then BAM, I had to have this awful one

It's an awful dream to have. It's probably all the stress and worries that are now reflected in your dreams. With Eric I had no dreams whatsoever, nothing that would give me even a hint of what's coming.
