I basically eat what most diabetics should eat, so if I can do it I think you will too. I struggled for years. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in Dec of 2005, after gaining 40 pounds in about 2 months. I was 210 pounds at that point. So I had lost some after I got on teh meds, about 15 pounds.
In June of last year I was 196 pounds. That was when I started again, got sidetracked by Colm's pregnancy. After I had Colm I was about 190 or so. Since he was born I have lost 22 pounds, but the weight didn't really start to come off until I switched my diet to paleo. No grains, no beans, no potatoes. Since Aug I have lost 18 pounds! I am so excited!!!!
When they persisted in questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let the person among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7 Sail Back to Me
