I am so not looking forward to Tuesday... I am having my gallbladder taken out! I know it is what I need but I don't want to have to do it!!!

I started having problems with my gallbladder when I was pregnant for Evan and now it has just gotten worse. I have ended up in the er twice in the last month in severe pain. So now they decided just best to take the darn thing out!! I have been on a low fat diet for 4 days now and it sucks!!

Oh hon, trust me when I say that gallbladder surgery is a piece of (low-fat) cake! I had mine taken out in 1999 via laparoscopic surgery and recovery was quick. I think nowadays, they even do it on an outpatient basis.

You will be amazed at how much better you will feel afterwards. Good luck to you !!

I had mine out in 2004 and it wasn't too bad. Much better than eating no fat for the rest of your life! Trust me! Very well worth it because dealing with that pain every time you eat is no fun at all. Hope everything goes well for you and try not to worry. HUGZ!

I had mine out in February. You'll be amazed how quickly you recover.
