A few weeks ago we were in an Irish shop and I saw a little keepsake box that I really liked and wondered if I could use it for Colm's urn. After looking online tonight I think it would work just fine. Some of the infant urns are really tiny and look like those little jewelry boxes anyway. So I think I am going to either get that one, or another box like that. I haven't found an urn that I like yet.

It would probably work. I know that with Cora's, the ashes were in a small plastic bag which was placed inside the urn, so I'm sure it would work. If you like it, then go for it.

I agree! I had a heck of a hard time finding anything...Ella's ashes are in a bag too...I haven't taken them out fully, but I did a little just to see what it looked like, so I'm not sure how big of a bag it actually is.

Right now Colm's are still in the box from teh funeral home which is in the memory box we have. The memory box looks like a giant baby block. I would like something we could put out though. But, no matter what we get I have to keep the original cremation box so we can take him on a plane with us if we get stationed overseas.
