How long did it take to get AF back after your loss? I was only 20 weeks along when Lucy was born, so I don't expect it will take too long to get my cycle back, but I've heard it can take a while.

I lost my Twins on Jan 4th at 22 weeks i bled for about 5 days after and I got my first period 28 days later. It was a bit heavy than normal and i had cramps really bad which i never had before. Our bodies are quite amazing how they bounce back - I wish my heart was as resliant.

Thanks for sharing. I know it's different for everyone, but I forgot to ask the doctor what was the usual time frame, so I've been wondering lately.

I got my first PP AF 9 weeks after Noah. But I also continued to bleed after the birth for about 3 weeks, so 6 weeks after the bleeding finally stopped I got a real AF.

After losing Katrina at 22 1/2 weeks, if I remember correctly, I bled for about a week afterward and then my first af came about 30 days after that.

I can honestly say I don't remember. I do remember finally stopping bleeding then 4 days later getting AF. I wasn't really happy about that.
