My IC forum for women w/IC and PTL issues just banned me. I joined a week after my loss in '08.

Well, the owner is known to be power hungry. She started enforcing rules like, no using yor angel's picture in avatars or siggies.

Nobody can mention pregnancy, loss, ttc, religion, without mentioning it in the title. You get repremaded for forgetting.

The same went for if you forgot to turn off your siggy in the TTC & loss sections.

I didn't object. I didn't even voice an opinion, just went with the flow. A friend decided to start another forum for women w/IC. I joined it yesterday. That is it....just joined....I haven't even posted. When I went to log into the old forum last night, I was banned. Lovely. That is real supportive.

So, after 2 years of being a member and pouringmy heart out through 2 pregnancies and talking to multiple others, I guess joining another forum dedicated to the same cause is reason to be banned.

I'm glad in my hobby of rabbit breeding they don't care. I'm on 5 specialty forums for rabits, all a different owner some are breed specific. Then I own 2 active rabbit forums.

I just don't get it.

I don't get it either. That's ridiculous really. I mean, there are a lot of other forums, and joining more than one doesn't mean that you're going to "steal" traffic or anything. I get it if you posted "hey, this place is better, come over here!" but for not even posting at the other place?

how did she know?

I'm assuming since my friend and the forum owner are both on FB when my friend posted the link on her FB, the owner probably looked on there and saw my name in the membership.

Very immature, if you ask me. I thought only 5th graders had the whole "you are my friend so you can't be friend's with anyone else" thing.
