Well, Saturday morning (my Friday night since I was at work) brought my first PP AF- both happy and sad about that. Happy my body is on the right track but sad because I shouldn't be having AF for several more months It's a bad AF though- lots of cramps, bleeding, even a few small clots. I figure that's probably normal since my last AF was in January, but was that everyone else's experience too? It's gotten lighter since then, but I usually have pretty light/short periods- two to two and a half days of bleeding, maybe only 12 hours of heavy bleeding.

(((Hugs))) that was my big thing, I wanted AF to return, but at the same time I was sad about it ...I can't remember what my AF was like after I had Ella, I have heavy periods any way, so I don't think it was anything abnormal for me...I do remember that after my first AF my cycle was really long...I didn't ovulate till CD 26...I had already started TTC so I was keeping track of that...I hope things get back on track quickly for you!!!

I'm sorry. I remember being angry and depressed both times. I think they were worse that my normal AF and I think they were pretty much on track with my normal cycle.

The first AF after Eric's birth came in 10 weeks. It was real heavy, and lasted a few days more than the usual ones. The next time it was back to normal.

My 1st one was right on time and normal, but what got me was the PMS. I had it so badly that it was almost like a panic attack. I was crying, shaking, and in general, a real mess.

My periods have gotten worse with each pregnancy. Not longer (only 3-4 days) but heavier and the cramps are more painful.

I got my first ppaf 27 days after Cora was born. It made me really sad too, because I should have been nursing and not having periods, but happy that my body was going back to "normal."

My 1st PP AF was right on time (about 40 days after delivery, which is a normal cycle for me). My period was entirely normal by all accounts, except my experience was similar to Celia's...really, really, REALLY bad PMS. I had 3 full cycles before becoming pregnant again, and the PMS was bad for all 3, but the 1st was definitely the worst.

Thanks, ladies! I think the witch is finally leaving me- but I'm actually glad to know that the PMS (which was pretty bad these past few days) is common- I had bad PMS sometimes to begin with, but this was bad! And I've been much more emotional thinking about Matthew a lot the past couple days, and I don't know if it's due to AF or not.
