I need to buy more chipped marble though, I was surprised to see that a lot of it was missing, and in general her grave was a grown over mess. Sad, since I had it so pretty last time.
Here is what it looked like that last time we decorated. With the homemade temporary headstone.
When we got there the temp headstone was cracked in 5 pieces, but we knew that would happen. And here are the photos from today, not the greatest because it was so sunny.
Isn't it breathtaking! I adore it.
My headstone crew! My stepdad, my mom, my niece Olivia, My brother in law Chris holding Lily, My sister mel, My hubby, me and my brother Bill. My son Alexander took this photo, not to bed eh? He refused to be in the picture, so we had him take it, LOL.
Wow, I totally thought I replied to this earlier! Ugh. It's so gorgeous Jen! I really wish I had been able to bury Cora and give her a headstone (but since I was only going to be living there 2-3 more years...just couldn't). A headstone...is proof to the world that she was here. You don't have to be there, you don't have to tell anyone. They can just look and see, anyone who walks by. She will be remembered even after you're gone.
