My baby cousin was born at a very healthy 7lbs, 9 ounces on October 24th! During one of the NST his heart rate was going down so they decided to do the C-section a few weeks earlier because of her previous loss they didn't want to take any chances. His name is Gabriel James and he is just soo cute and precious! We are soo happy and thankful that she is able to hold her son and that he is healthy

Here is a recent picture of him:

Thanks for all your thoughts about my family and we are soo happy to have a new member of our family

Hi there! My name is Kelly and I have 2 kids who are almost 3 years old and 14 months old. I haven't had a stillbirth but my aunt who I am very close to did last year and my heart aches for her. Everything was going well in her pregnancy but due to the babies large size her doctor wanted to schedule a C-section for April 22,2009 when she was about 39 weeks to deliver her daughter, Chloe Elizabeth. 2 days before her c-section she was noticing her baby was having very erratic movements that were really painful. She called her doctor and he said it was just the baby getting big and trying to get comfortable so she tried to relax and hopefully the movements would clam down. Well the next morning she noticed all the movements had stopped so she called again and he said well maybe the baby is just sleeping but it would be a good idea to come in. My aunt told me she just knew something was really wrong. Once they got to the hospital they tried to find the hearbeat and there was none and her baby had passed away that night. They think the cord was wrapped around her neck and she tried to get free and that is why the movements were soo crazy. My aunt gave birth to her perfect little girl on April 19th born sleeping and it was one of the sadess days of our families life! I was around 20 weeks pregnant at the time with my son and hearing that her little girl passed away in her womb just saddend me soo much and has totally changed the way I think of being pregnant and having a healthy baby. It has been soo hard to talk to my aunt about my son because I feel guilty that she didn't get to chance to meet her daughter. I always think why did this have to happen to her becase she didn't do anything wrong and she wanted this little girl more than anything!

But with all the sadness there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My aunt is pregant again and due with a little boy in December She has been monitored frequently and they are going to do a C-section when she is about 38 weeks on November 16th which is coming up soon. My aunt hasn't been able to enjoy her pregnancy because she is soo afraid something bad is going to happen. She just wants to give birth soon and have her little boy be in her arms safely. I know what happened to her daughter is very rare but I hope and pray that her little boy is born safe. She is such a nice and caring person and she deserves to be a mother again (she has a 14 year daughter as well). She has been on my mind soo much lately so I thought it would be appropriate to post her story her. My heart goes out to all of you ladies who have suffered such a loss and your babies will never be forgotten. My little cousin Chloe would have been about 18 months old now and would have been best buddies with my 14 month old son. If you could keep my aunt in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy delivery of her son on November 16th! We are soo excited about meeting our new little cousin whos name is a secret until he is born

I am so sorry for your Aunt's (and your family) loss

I hope her current pregnancy continues to go smoothly and that she gets to bring home her healthy baby boy in only a few weeks time!

I am so sorry for your Aunt's loss of her baby girl. Praying that this pregnancy continues to go well and she is holding a healthy little baby boy soon. Your Aunt is lucky to have such a caring family who will always remember her little girl. Just know that she will still be grieving her Chloe when her little boy is born so she might have some crazy emotions going on.
