We switched ped's back in December and Cadie had her 2 month well check on Monday. We saw a doctor in the practice we hadn't met before. He's VERY pro-breastfeeding and was commenting on what a good job we're doing. He also mentioned that he's written his congressmen about trying to prohibit formula manufacturers from sending free samples in the mail.

One of the examples he used was, "I mean, can you imagine if you had a stillborn baby and then received formula in the mail?"

I had to tell him I didn't have to imagine it, I've lived it and it sucks.

It does suck. Luckily I know a woman that does medical mission trips, so I just drop it off to her to use when she needs it. I never thought I would dread going to the mail box.

I used to get free diapers samples for several months after Eric was born.
