I would have never in a million years imagined I would be introducing myself on a Stillbirth forum... but who would? My Reagan was born June 26, 2011. I had gone into the hospital on that Sunday morning after not feeling much movement and just knowing something was wrong. They confirmed then that indeed, my baby was no longer alive. I was 38 weeks, 4 days. I gave birth to her that night, the most gorgeous little girl with tons of dark hair, just as I had always imagined. She was 7lbs 1oz and 21.5 inches long. I'm not sure what else to say, I think I'll be around here a lot for a while, I have so many questions and love seeing everyone else's angelbaby's too!

It is with a heavy heart and open arms that I welcome you to our group. I started to say "little group" but it keeps growing.

I'm very sorry for the passing of your beautiful daughter.
We're here if you need to talk!
Hugs from Houston!
Dawna

Sounds just like my story. We confirmed Cora had died at 38w1d and I was induced the next day. I agree, I don't think any of us expected to be here. I'm so sorry that you have to be here, but you are welcome with open arms.

Thank you all so much. It's so nice to know there are others that have gone through the same thing (though not really nice at all, I would never wish this on ANYONE!!!!, but I hope you know what I mean). I still have a lot of questions, and I'm sure I'll be around a bit. I go to my doctors appointment on the 16th so I am hoping he can translate the autopsy to me and maybe we will know more.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have a similar story. There was no movement and my son, Eric , was born still a few days later at almost 39 weeks. Hope you find some comfort here.

Like everyone, I never expected to be part of a stillbirth board but I have met so many strong and amazing women that I keep in touch with on a daily basis now that I have known for years - we are truly a group of strong women that know what you feel when you want to scream and hollar but all you can do is cry.

I am so sorry for the loss of Reagan <3
