I am very sorry for your losses and my heart aches for you. I'm glad we have a place to discuss, grieve, and share online.
I don't ever really post much on justmommies but I do a lot of reading here. I lost my dear boy on 9/20 this year. I had a placenta abruption and at 36 weeks and 2 days. Other than that, everything was fine during the pregnancy. I also had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, a little over 2 years ago.
Has anyone here lost a child due to PA or know someone who has and has gone on to have a successful pregnancy thereafter? The Dr.s could not find a reason for my PA. They said that these things just happen for unknown reasons.
I had a placental abruption with my twins in April 2011. They were born early at 25w5d because my daughters placenta detached. My son is now almost 2 years old and perfect but my daughter passed away the day after she was born. The doctors gave no reasoning for it besides multiples. I asked my OB if it could happen again and he said the chances were slim....not sure if I believe him or not.
