The last couple of times I went home to where my grandparents live I usually stop at a store called "all things Catholic" to get a little something for my angel Aries. My DH bought him a statue of a baby sleeping inside of angel wings that I just LOVE I just happen to stop there Saturday with my grandmother and was sad thinking they really didn't have anything that caught my eye and was ready to leave, when I saw some small statues and one of a small angel holding up a smaller angel and the card with it says "When God Calls Little Children" the saying on it put me in tears in the store and I would like to share it with you all:

"When God Calls Little Children"

When Gold calls little children to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold,
So he pics a little rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, so He takes but a few
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult, still, somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "goodbye".
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children......Angels are hard to find.

The cashier there was an older lady and had shared her story of having her daughter at 4mos that lived a day and said how sorry she was and thought the statue was just perfect and asked if it was OK to add my son to her daily prayers....of course I said yes and wanted to say one for hers. I wish my cam worked to show you all a pic because the statue is just beautiful!

ETA: I did find a website with the statue

Missing our Angel: Aries Isaiah 09/06/05 Carried you for only 24wks1d but in Mommy's heart FOREVER

To my Aries:
The time we had with you was brief,
We had to say good-bye,
Now angels kiss your little face,
And sing your lullaby.

Someday again, we'll be with you,
To cherish all those things,
Until that day it helps to know,
You're safe in angels wings.
