I am so sorry for your loss. I just hate too see a new member because I know the pain and heartache that comes with it, so it is a sad welcome. The girls here have really helped me to get through some of the pain and devastation. They have helped me to feel more "normal". Feel free to share the story of your son with us whenever you are ready and pictures too. I lost my little girl just 6 weeks ago. We are all here for you whenever you need to scream, shout, or cry.

I am terribly sorry for your loss, it is breaking my heart.
I have been here for 2 years now, I found this place because of my loss. I continue coming here because it is very good support. You can share things with us that sometimes don't seem easy with the real world around you.
I hope there is some advice down the road that I can do to help you heal.
Again I am very sorry, any time you are ready share your baby boy William, we will be here.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I sadly welcome you here. Another wonderful group is the MISS foundation. There are a lot more people that post there, if you are looking for more support. Take care.

Your story sounds so much like mine. May 1 of last year, I was 38w1d. I couldn't get Cora to move. I was induced the next day. She had a very short cord and it was wrapped around her neck twice. ((SEVEN times?????? I didn't even know that was possible!!!!))

Honey, I'm so very sorry. I, too, hate to welcome newcomers here. I know all those feelings you felt, as your dreams of your labor and delivery took such a horribly devastating turn.

If you ever need to talk, just PM me okay?

I wish it was something they could have found on an ultrasound. But I guess even when they do see a cord around the neck it's not a concern because it's so common. I just keep thinking that if he had been born a week earlier he would have been okay. But I know thinking like that wont bring him back, and it sure doesn't make me feel any better.[/b]
I can't tell you how often I've said those same things myself. Especially since I was scrapbooking my Cora's ultrasounds a few weeks ago and realized that it looked like the cord was around her neck even at 23 weeks. So many times I had thought "if I had just gone into labor, then they would have known something was wrong." It sort of feels like your body betrayed you, doesn't it? *sigh*

William is so beautiful. I'm sorry that you, like me, couldn't have seen him look at you, and smile at you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had my stillborn, on June 20th at 38 weeks and 2 days. We were not able to find out the reason. I also feel so sick whenever I think that being a mother I could not predict and the stupid doctors did not see me for 2 days since I started spotting. they said it was common and it was ok to wait. Just few hours before I went to hospital I had felt his movements. Right now I should have been planning for his first birthday... I feel so sad and depressed.

Your son looks so perfect. I am extremely sorry for what happened, no words can console you but believe me, it gets a little easier over the time. Good luck!

Thank you ladies for all the support. I'm so sorry that we have to be here in this board.

He's been gone over 4 weeks now, and I don't think I'm any better, but I'm not any worse. I just miss him so much.

I find myself really missing Cora this morning. I just finished nursing Rielle and putting her back to sleep. She's a sweetheart, and I love her dearly, but I can't help but wonder what Cora would have been like.

It's hard, thinking about it. If I hadn't lost Cora, we definitely wouldn't have gotten pregnant with Rielle on purpose. I probably would NOT have been happy about being pregnant AT ALL.

Losing Cora is giving me the ability to give all of myself to her sister, and to appreciate everything about Rielle so much more.

But I really miss Cora this morning.

Don't worry about not being better after only a month. It takes a really long time.

I wish I could reach out and hug you. I am brought to tears with sadness and understanding for you. I feel like I have no idea what being in your situation is like because I lost Macy at just 17 weeks. You carried your precious little angel baby to term. Again, my heart just breaks for you. I pray that you are holding up and at least physically healing well so you can carry on with your emotional pain w/out the sadness of the physical post pregnancy issues at the same time.
Hugs, hugs, hugs to you.

I know I am late posting, but I do want you to know how sorry I am about the loss of your beautiful baby boy. I lost my ds March 06 and I miss him so each day. I think I am a stronger person for having gone through what I have and I also feel that it has made me a better mom b/c I really know just how precious life is and how we should really cherish each moment we have with our children.
