Well, a wonderful stranger on MDC.com crocheted (spelling?) me a tiny stocking for Dominic with a D on it. She also made a little heart that goes inside of it. I love it. She had an angel back in June and made one for her DD.

My sister got Alyssa and Dominic their own personalized ornaments. I really like them.

I also want to buy this: http://www.collectiblestoday.com/ct/produc...01&ovtac=PI

That is where my siggy poem came from.

I was wondering what you lovely ladies did to remember your angel?

I was thinking about buy him a present, but everytime I try to I break down in tears, so I don't think I can handle that this year. Maybe next Christmas..

My mother and a good friend of mine each bought us an ornament that has Bryan Luke's name on it. Those are very special to me.

My husband and I decided to "adopt" a little boy who is in Child Protective Services and buy gifts for him. DHR does this each year here. Most of the kids in CPS won't get much if anything for Christmas (the foster homes are just too stretched... some are in orphanges too), so they ask people in the community to buy gifts for them... a lot like the angel tree. This year we got a boy that is 10 months old... so he is older than Bryan Luke obviously, but he was the youngest boy they had. So it was a lot like buying gifts for our son. We plan to do this each year and try to get a boy who is close to the age Bryan Luke should be. I found it highly gratifying and comforting.

We will also have a candle lit for him all day on Christmas. We did that on Thanksgiving and it was a great way to keep him a part of the family. I put a little elephant stuffed animal beside it, because that was his toy I'd bought for him.

I buy a little decoration in memory of her. Last year it was a beautiful Christmas bell. This year it's an angel holding a baby. They're not ornaments for the tree, but they're just decorations to set out.

My mom made my stocking and my brothers when we were born, so she has made all her grandchildren stockings too to continue the tradition. they are very elaborate and beautiful. She made a little one for Macy her 1st Christmas and I got us all initial ornaments including an "M" for her.
This year, my mother in law sculpted a little angel ornament and put her name on it.
I also had a few people ask me about her which I thought was very sweet and kind.
