I don't have any advice. But I wanted to offer some HUGS! I didn't buy anything at all for Bryan Luke (a few people had given me clothes, but I think we have a total of like 5 outfits) and Sarah Beth had lived. I don't know why I never could do it. I just felt like I couldn't.

Astrid wrote something on her blog about not wanting to buy the trips things yet. She said registering was a big deal for her. I think everyone has those feelings. I just wanted you to know you aren't alone.

And remember, if you have one baby outfit, the rest could be bought after the baby is here. It'd make things hard, but it could be done. Don't let this be something that really stresses you out.

I had a really hard time buying things for Erin. Since I had most of the big things (crib, travel set, etc) left over from Cora, I didn't really have anything that I NEEDED to buy. People gave me things, but I honestly only bought a coming home outfit for her before she was born, and I had to FORCE myself to get it.

I didn't buy any diapers/wipes until after she was born because I had to return several packages after Cora and I was just too afraid to.

I agree with Beth. While it is easier to buy things before the baby gets here just so you'll have them, it's not NECESSARY. So you don't have to buy stuff.

Or you could just force yourself to do it and work through the fear. But you're not going to stop being afraid until that baby arrives. And sometimes not even then. But you have other children, so you know what it's like to worry about them.

I have no advice hun, just want to offer you hugs. I think once I do get preggo again I will have the same fear. I have a closet full of diapers and baby clothes, so I really don't NEED anything besides a coming home outfit.

I was terrified to buy anything when I was pregnant with Elijah. I had started buying stuff more or less straight away when I fell pregnant with Ceilidh, not a lot just the odd sleepsuit here and there and I had my eye on the pram I wanted (from Mothercare too!!) then I got the devastating news that she wouldn't survive. So when I fell pregnant with Elijah I couldn't bring myself to buy anything. Fortunately my mum did!! She bought sleepsuits and knitted cardigans. She bought a moses basket and ordered the pram for me too, I just couldn't do that myself.
If you can't buy stuff yourself, ask a friend or a family member to buy some sleepsuits etc so that bubs has something to wear when he/she is born. Then after the birth you send Lee to Asda with a list as long as your arm!!

When I was pregnant with Rheiya I didn't have much to buy anyway as I had all Elijah's hand me downs, but I went through the 'I can't buy stuff' stage with Lucas, although I already had all the big stuff.

I was more relaxed with Jaidyn though although I didn't want to buy too much as we didn't know if we had to buy pink or blue!
