I knew it had passed here in CA and I live in Modesto CA.. anyway I have been following this bill like no tomorrow and I helped fight for it. Well Once the bill passed and was in affect on the first of Jan I went down to get the proper work for the certificate. I waited to see if it was in the news or in the news paper that this bill passed because to me it's very important for us all that have suffered, here in modesto alone in 2007 51 stillbirth occured That is a very large number, and nothing was ever posted about it, no one knew about this bill except for 3 people. So I decided to wrote the Modest Bee and they took 2 days to get back to me, I thought for sure they blew me off. Anyway we talk for 2 hours as I give him all info of what took place, he asked if he could come and take pictures of Noah's shelf, I said I was ok with it and he came the next day. Then before he left I asked when it was going to be in the paper, he said tomorrow.... I was blown away... So I wait and get up at 7am to look in the paper expecting it to be on the back or something, NOPE front page, huge and back too.... OMG I cried and cried..... here you may go and take a look on th online one.. it's not as pretty as the news paper as it shows so much more the the online one does not show... On line it has typo's too, the actual paper has none ( spelt jayden wrong)

One state at a time, I hope it passes everywhere soon.
In the UK we have certificates of stillbirth. Stillborn babies are registered just like any other baby. Their name's are put in a different registry. It helped me to heal as I know Ceilidh's name is written down as proof she did exist.
