Dh bought this for me. I just love it. Abby's birthstone is diamond, so there are 15 diamonds in it, and she was born on the 15th. I don't know if he realized all of this when he bought it, but it is absolutely everything I wanted. I thought I wanted a tatoo, but tatoos just aren't me. So here is a scan of the necklace because I could find the camera.

With her 1st birthday coming up I feel so much better to have something in memory of her that I can always have with me.

It is absolutely ok if you post something on her birthday. I know those women won't know me much though because she wasn't due until July. Thanks for thinking of me and Abby though.

Oh Rhonda that is so beautiful! What a thoughtful and wonderful dh you have!! Keelies 1 year is coming too on the 9th as you know and I'm starting to get anxious and not quite sure how to cope. How are you doing? What are your plans for the 15th?

No real plans for the 15th. I don't celebrate birthdays, so I don't think I should celebrate Abby's either. I know that we are planning on planting some flowers near her tree and finish decorating it the way we wanted to. I also will be finishing another video for her. I am also working on her scrapbook and hope to have it complete by then. I am not handling it too well right now. I think the anticipation of that day is getting the best of me. I am hoping that it will bring me some peace, and maybe a new perspective to be through all of the firsts. I will be thinking of you and Keelie.

Do you have any plans for the 9th? I am sure you will make it extra special.

It's really starting to get to me too. Just when I thought it was starting to pass, I find myself randomly crying lately. It's hard to believe that it's already been a year and even though I'm pregnant again I find myself thinking more or her pregnancy and thinking where I was at this time with her rather than where I am with this one, and it's hard.

We plan on taking the drive to where she is buried and maybe having lunch there and taking some flowers and some little items to decorate with. It makes me feel like such a horrible person each time we go because all the other babies headstones are way way decorated and she just has some little fake flowers that the lawn movers have run over. It's hard though because since we are in the military we did not want to bury her here because we know we will never be here again so she is in my hometown anyways I'm rambling now...
