Ok y'all, I LOVE me some Zumba! Something about the loud music, shaking my butt and letting loose is my happy place when I am stressed or need to get away. I have been going for about a year and a half at least twice a week and had just gotten off a break from it that DH insisted on during the first trimester. So, I went tonight and couldn't keep up. About 20 minutes in, I had to quit cause I was getting too winded. I went and talked to a trainer about it and she said to do weights, treadmill or water aerobics because it's not safe to get too out of breath with baby. I walked the treadmill for a bit then came out to my car and cried!! What a loser! I feel so dumb feeling sorry for myself when I am blessed to be the vessel of new life! So I am a big fat baby that will miss my Zumba for the next 5 months-ish. Waaaahh!!
I totally understand - I LOVE ZUMBA, but I refuse to even attempt it. I have a lot of shortness of breath on top of my asthma so I already know it won't work. Plus I don't think I have the energy to get through the warm up! LOL
At least you tried!
If you decide to try again, just take it easier at your own pace.
