I'm curious how far away your hospital is from your home?

Mine is about 30 minutes when obeying the speed limits and stop lights.

I home birth. But if a hospital is needed, closest is 10 minutes.

If I choose another c-section, it's 10 minutes away. If I try for a vbac, we'll have to drive at least an hour to a hospital that allows them. Not thrilled about that.

I'm in a similar situation...my hospital doesnt allow vbacs...there might be one across state line that does ..45 minutes away. Or I can attempt a home birth with a very experience vbac midwife (I would still be 30 minutes from a hospital driving at normal speeds)

or I can just do the c section like htey want me to..

The hospital where I will deliver is about 20-30 mins away. There is however a small hospital here in town about 5 mins away. They dont have a maternity set up (in fact I have yet to even find an OB in this town) but I am sure if something happened they could stabilize until a transfer to the bigger town could happen or they could probably handle a surprise birth

We'll have a birth center birth, I think. The birth center is maybe 20 minutes away. Last time I waited until 7 cm to drive in and that was miserable! We are also considering home birth.

My hospital is a whole 4 minutes away! Or if I'm feeling up for it, at 15 minute walk haha. I feel pretty lucky about that because it's the hospital I really wanted.

With my SO driving, I want to say about 30-45 from my work and maybe 15-20 from home. So not -too- bad.

Im 15 minutes away if there is an emergency or something but I will have to go to a hospital that is an hour away because my local hospital wont deliver 36 weeks or earlier.

I am moving next month and will be delivering at a new hospital. I think it will be within 20 mins.

Small local hospital is about 10 minutes away. They have OB but with our insurance we have to go to one closer to Indianapolis. It is only about 30 minutes away. We will be fine unless my water breaks! (My babies like to surf out )

Mine was 30 minutes. We got to sit at a stoplight in front of a raunchy strip club on the way, it was a looong light and because i was high risk, I was at the hospital 3 times a week. Watch, my son will have a thing for strippers when he grows up!

Currently planning a home birth, but having a hard time finding a midwife to attend. I will be moving in a few months out of state and not sure where we are going yet lol.

About 10-15 mins from my work and, with DH driving, about 45mins-1 hour from home. But worst case scenario we will stay closer to the hospital when it gets closer to time.
