So, starting last night (after running around all day carrying my 2 year old because she insisted on wearing Cinderella shoes in the mall), I started having cramps/dull pain on the right side and even aching into my leg. I laid down for a bit and it wasn't as bad and didn't start back up till I got off work today. Woke up last night with bad abdominal cramping but it was better after I used the restroom. No bleeding or anything thank goodness. I ovulated on the painful side so all I can think about is that it didn't fall into the right place because we were riding carnival rides right after I conceived! Oops!!! Anyone else experience one sided pain?

have you had an u/s yet? I have the same symptoms when I have a corpus lutem (sp?) Cyst. they can be quite painful, but I have never had any complications from them. I think I have one now but won't find out until my u/s next week. believe they typically reabsorb by the 2nd trimester and complications from them are rare. Mine are sometimes aggrivated w activity, especially bending over.

I do think you should call OB if it persists.

I think some days are prone to be more painful than others, I was out in the yard today pulling weeds (I did not want to, but had no choice lol) and chasing my 3yr old and I was having pretty sharp pains on my right side as well. My back had been killing me any time I walk more than a few minutes as well. I would try to rest and take it easy for a day and see how you feel. If it gets worse or doesn't go away when you rest I would bring it up to your ob.

I think I am always more crampy when I have been extra active and hauling around my toddler. I was also wondering if some of it could be round ligament pain. I know it usually doesn't get bad until later, but with this pregnancy and my last I seem to have the pains every once in awhile. Just things stretching out early I guess.

It could be dehydration too. I never drink enough when I am busy with my son, and dehydration can make you cramp.

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!
