Curious if any of you that have already had your ultrasounds have heard about this study? Its over 90% accurate and has been 100% accurate for ladies in my old ddc.

The theory is that males usually implant on one side of the uterus and females on another. I think it was 97% accurate for both genders If I remember right.

So during your ultrasound you ask the tech on which side of your uterus the baby implanted.

You have to ask the tech DURING the ultrasound though because right and left can not be determined based on the picture alone.

Its called the Ramzi Study if you want to google it.

Just another fun gender predictor for those interested

So you just ask "which side is the placenta on?" I might have to try this if I get an u/s in the next couple of weeks! I'm hoping to get one early next week!

Wow this is so interesting! My tech only said that the baby was at the top of my uterus. Man, I wish I knew this yesterday!!

I have been playing around with this on a ddc group on facebook that I am in. I have also obsessively looked at hundreds of early ultrasounds on count down my pregnancy. I have gotten pretty good. Only certain ultrasounds I can guess with any accuracy based on markers my us tech pointed out to me.

My baby implanted on the left and points to a girl if I dont fall into the 3%

Do twins run in your family? If not, they would probably be indentical
When I was pregnant with my twins, they could only tell me the gender of one but we knew the other one had to be the same

that's really neat! I'll have to give it a try if they do an U/S at 8wks when I go in! I know you can usually tell by the nubs around 10-12wks, and i've been pretty accurate on those, but I didn't know about the implantation side!

My cramping has mainly been on the left side!! That would mean a girl for me! Going to read the research now. Thanks for the info

This is so neat. I'm going to have to ask at my U/S on Monday. I was looking at this post last night and then had a dream that they told me the baby implanted on the right side.

I'm not sure what side the placenta is on but if I have another ultrasound next Friday I will definitely ask. I will be about 8 or 9 weeks at that point? I'm getting confused, lol.

I have noticed that I felt some mild cramping on the right side. Also, I feel much different this pregnancy than I did with my two previous pregnancies, which were girls. So this could be a boy.

I didn't ask but most of my cramping has been on the right side. Another boy like I'm thinking??
