I say surprise baby, even though when you don't use any kind of protection a baby can be the outcome
This Is our first non planned baby, and it feels pretty great. It took 8months for #1, 2.5 years for #2, and a 1yr for #3.

Very much planned from my perspective, my husband was more just letting whatever might happen happen. Same result either way. :-)

Planned but still a surprise. Did not think timing this month was great and had chemical pregnancy in August. Super happy this one seems to be sticking! U/s on Monday

It was a complete surprise!
I had infertility for 11 years with my ex, he was tested so I know that the issues were with me.

My current boyfriend only took 2 cycles of unprotected sex for me to get pregnant with him. We were not expecting it lol
I did warn him that even though I had infertility there was still always a chance and that I was not on birth control. Well we saw how long it took for that lololol

This was a huge surprise for us. I was very stressed at first knowing we now need a bigger house, a bigger SUV and need to buy the baby stuff all over again even though I just gave my baby stuff away 6 months ago. Now we are getting excited and can't wait to tell our two girls. Funny thing is my oldest came into my room the other night and said she wished she could have another little sister. I wanted to tell her but need to wait a little longer.

Definitely a surprise for us. NTNP, but we've DTD 3 times only since January... like they say, it only takes once.

We weren't trying or preventing, but it still came as a shock.

Humongous surprise!

We definitely weren't trying to get pregnant but weren't using any form of protection either. I only have 1 ovary and 1 stump of a fallopian tube (thank you PID) so it was a huge, huge shock getting pregnant. I was told the chance of getting pregnant without help was the same as getting pregnant while using birth control. Basically the sperm and egg had to meet up in just the perfect spot to find it's way to the uterus. So that was pretty much our form of birth control. We DTD June, July and August and I got pregnant in August. And here I was worried I'd never get pregnant.

A planned surprise. I had just weaned DS#2 and hadn't yet gotten my first post-partum AF. I could tell I was ovulating, and we did try, but I was fully expecting to get AF 2 weeks later. When I never got my period, I took a test and was shocked that it was positive. It has always taken us at least 6 months to get pregnant in the past, so I never dreamed we would actually conceive so quickly. We are cautiously excited and it is a huge blessing since we had to TTC over 2 years to get our second child.

Complete shock. We "pull and pray", which clearly didn't work with our girls, but after 5 years between pregnancies we really were not expecting to have another baby. We arehankful and finally starting to get excited, but this will be our last. DH is getting a vasectomy this winter!

We were NTNP, but it was planned because we were hoping and praying for it to happen.
