I told my BF that his dad pregnancy/baby book said he should be giving up things that I have to give up to support me. Yes, I'm pre-reading his material lol. I was joking when I said it. I didn't expect or want him to give up anything. But surprisingly he said he'd give up whatever I was sad about having to give up, except cereal lol. So now I'm trying to think about what that is. I'm thinking riding my horses but he doesn't like to do that anyway. Maybe Subway, though I still eat it. What about you?

Honestly...wine. And beer. I'm not too sad about hard liquor, although I will miss margaritas on taco tuesdays.
I guess I can't go on rollercoasters now, not that I've been in a while since my stomach isn't as strong as it used to be. That bums me out because FrightFest at Elitches is coming up and all I'll be able to do is eat overpriced (although delicious) park food and watch.
I guess it all just ends up being petty stuff that I'm 'giving up.'

My body I remember feeling like I didnt even have ownership of my own body at the end last time. That and sleep. My son is 6 years old now, obviously he sleeps through the night and when he gets up in the morning its at a normal hour.

I miss wine and beer like Lushaye... and I miss coffee drinking it makes me so sick. =( I also agree with Nel. I was pregnant or nursing with my girls for almost 5 years straight. I am not a woman who likes to be pregnant. I enjoy bfding very much, but I like my body being my own!

Caffeine is a big one for me. I used to drink 2 cups a day and now I'm hating cutting back. Rides is also a big one for me. My DF works in IT at our local theme park and I was looking forwards to FrightFest and Holiday with Lights!

I'm not really giving anything up. Alcohol, although I rarely drink anyway so that's not a big deal. I do miss coffee, but I haven't given it up, it just sounds like it will make my morning sickness worse when I think about trying a cup in the morning. I agree with the ones that said they feel like they're giving up their bodies. I just weaned a month before I got pregnant, so I haven't had my body completely to myself in 2 years!

Alcohol! Lol! Probably sounds bad but I like to drink, especially on special occasions. We are going to a wedding tomorrow and I'm definitely going to miss it and feel a little left out.

Honestly...nothing! I prayed for 3 years total for 2 pregnancies and would gladly give up anything just to be preggy. I am on Cloud 9 and loving every thing I can't have just cause that means my dream of being pregnant has finally come true. ♥

Sushi with raw fish. I've been having veggie rolls, but eh...

My big thing isn't so much what I'm "giving up" but what will be different, and that is that it's Just the two of us with my DH right how. It's weird to think that it won't ever be that way again!

I don't think I've given anything up yet, just cut back. I still eat sushi pretty frequently which was fine with my OB as long as it was cooked and not high in mercury.

I didn't give up coffee. I live in Seattle. I already quit brown soda for the most part. What I am most sad about is I love my little family and I know part of me is gonna miss the most is just having it be me and my DD. That's the scariest thing for me to give up.

Alcohol lol I don't drink often but wine, champagne or a mixed drink with some friends for happy hour is going to be on the back burner for a long time! Guess I'll fake it with my virgin drinks!!

Hardest things to give up- coffee and diet mountain dew. that and getting a full night of rest- but it is so worth it in the end!

I still have some caffeine but not as much as I used to... So yeah I miss that. Also definitely miss te alcohol . I like to get a nice buzz going every so often but I prefer to abstain completely during pregnancy .

I have my wedding In a few weeks and I'm a little bummed I won't be celebrating the way everyone else will... Lol. But I'm sure it will be a wonderful day regardless. And I'll end up remembering all of it!!
