Are you taking your LO trick or treating?

What are they dressing up as?

Are you dressing up?

Does your community do TOT on the 31st or is another day picked?

Planning to attend any Halloween parties?

We take the kids to a trick-or-treat night at our local high school the day before Halloween and then to my in-laws' neighborhood Halloween night. We live in a rural area so we can't really take them around here.

The boys don't dress up anymore. I bought a butterfly mask and wings that im going to wear..
DD 8-peacock
DD 6-rockstar
DD 4- Ariel (again!)

I used to theme them, but now they all have their own opinions of what they want to be! They won't let me dress them alike anymore, either! ;(

I'm thinking of going trick or treating. I'm going to make the skeleton shirt with the skeleton baby (cheaper than $20 for one time) and tell people I'm taking my kid trick or treating for the first time. Give me candy!
But other than that...probably no parties or anything fancy aside from the stuff we do for the kids at work.

My sons will be Luigi, Mario and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

I don't dress up and my husband goes as Jason. Just with the mask because well, he's Jason haha. Not sure if he is this year.

We always do it on the 31st, never quite got the point of doing it every other day. We leave when it starts and we're back within a reasonable hour.

My 3 yr old is going to be Rapunzel and I believe the twins are going to be a football player and a cheerleader. Their mom picks their costume and we have no say (although we will have joint custody by the end of the year so next Halloween will be a whole new ballgame). We don't dress up when TOTing but we are going to 3 Halloween parties and will need to dress up. I assume he will go as a Firefighter and I will go as a Nurse since we wear those costumes to work everyday and its easy and cheap. Lol.

Do people do Halloween on other days?

I forgot a question. We will TOT on the 31st but there have been times when Halloween falls on like a Sunday and they will move it to another day ( We have a very large LDS/mormon population in AZ) OR they have moved it from a weekday to a weekend because kids have school the next day.

My Boys are going to be Flash & Superman. I don't dress them up the same theme on purpose. It's what they pick! Last year they were Darth Vader & Yoda. The year before that I did pick my youngest costume. They were Mario and Yoshi.

I'm going to have a skeleton shirt like Nel's but the baby skeleton is going to be wearing a cape and mask...to match with my boys. It's how I'm announcing my pregnancy to my family!

Are you taking your LO trick or treating? Yep. Trick or Treating is huge here on base.

What are they dressing up as? My oldest is going to be Dorothy, and my youngest is Glinda the Good Witch!

Are you dressing up? No, I like making it all about the girls.

Does your community do TOT on the 31st or is another day picked? It's always on Halloween. We have designated "safe" hours to go out.

Planning to attend any Halloween parties? No parties, but we are going to "Trunk or Treat" at the Girl's school tonight.

You'd be surprised. I know a lot of communities don't like doing it on Halloween, especially if it's on a weekday. ToT hours here are 6pm - 8pm. That is plenty of time for my kids to go out, we leave at 6 and we're usually back by 730 with 3 cranky boys who are tired.
