Another myth most likely, but in your previous pregnancies (or this one for those of you who have found out already), was their any correlation between the BPM of your baby and its gender (lower for boys, higher for girls)?

My baby's heartbeat was at 144 yesterday, at 13w3d. I asked my dr what that means for gender and he said its right in the middle which means baby is going to be gay we said that would be oook with us. So that's all we know for now (;

My boys had higher heartbeats, when I went in for my scan on my fibroid, the heartbeat was 160, which at 10 weeks was the lowest I've had for my pregnancies.

My DDs were all in the 170's, I'm not sure about DS. This one is 160s. I think it is fun trying to guess!

My DDs was always low around 125-135. It freaked me out at first but they said it can be totally normal. My resting heart rate when not pregnant is in the 50s (same with several women in my family) so they said it could just be that hereditary issue. But anywho....that's one of the reason I thought she was a boy in the beginning but nope, all girl.

You are right on that, at least with the higher heart rate initially. U/S tech said as baby gets bigger, heart rate gets slower.
