My MIL is starting to drive me nuts; it's not so much with advice but with general comments.

She's the type of person who projects what she's feeling on others i.e.: "You're going to hate when your boobs get bigger" (because she did); "Oh you're going to be miserable and hate being pregnant" (because she was)

Just telling me to take huge amounts of various vitamins to help me feel better. Um, thinking overdosing might make things worse LOL.

We haven't told very many people yet (we will within the next week) so I haven't gotten any yet...I find it very annoying though! Last time my MIL and FIL kept bringing up how I was going to have a huge baby and a section (DH was naturally huge so she has a c/s and I have diabetes)...DD was 7lbs 13oz and I had a natural vaginal delivery and spontaneous labor. BOOM! haha I loved proving them wrong. I imagine they won't be saying those things this time!

Not really. Just everyone saying that it needs to be a girl. My husband has been saying I need to get our 15mo off the breast. Meh I would love to but I can't.

That! Except my almost 1 year old ds. My mil was adamant that I had to stop breastfeeding due to my pregnancy. I had to show her info showing her it was safe and the ok from my midwife.

My OB said I need to work on weaning too. I'm glad tha I've done enough research to know I don't have to quit if I don't want to.

No - I don't tend to attract unwanted advice. My family would never dream of overstepping in any way and the ILs, well, I control access to their grandson so they don't screw with me

Not too much just yet since we just announced. SO's mom keeps trying to stuff me full of food, but I'm still not eating as regularly.
My mom told me to start eating organic everything. Okay mom, I can barely eat as it is. If something sounds good, I'm eating it. Organic or not.

Not really, this is our 4th, there isn't much they can give me I haven't heard already haha.

Although, I'm quite tired of being told it better be a girl. It needs to be a girl. They hope its a girl. Don't they think I feel the same way?! I swear, they're starting to say it in a threatening manner which sounds worrisome at times! Girl or boy, I'm going to love this baby no matter what! They were planned and I can't wait to hold them

Not yet but we haven't told many people. I hope people don't tell me too much stuff. I made a point of telling people that we were doing our own thing and then we did so they kind of quit with the annoying advice after DS was a month or so old.

No unwanted advice so far, I think most people know I have the hang of it. I'm such a grump that if someone started in, I would probably answer with something like, "PLEASE, tell me more! I have only done this four times before."

I am also getting a lot of "awe, I hope it's a boy" comments. Either way, I can't wait to find out so I don't have to hear that anymore
