My torso feels so tight and sore today. Everything aches. Is this normal at almost 13 weeks? Perhaps with the utuerus moving up, everything feels squished? I just don't know. I feel like it's harder to breath today and I'm just uncomfortable. None of my pregnancies have gotten this far, so I am in new territory.

I wish I knew if it was normal. I think if you are shorter the less space feeling starts in sooner...

I've read that the breathlessness can kick in from very early in the 2nd tri, mostly from the whole extra blood and oxygen needed thing at this stage than squishing. I get a bit sore sometimes, especially if I do a bit too much. I think it's normal as long as it's not too painful or overly crampy. But there are definite moments of discomfort for me.

Thanks ladies. The ache has let up now. I'm just not used to all the things that pregnancy can bring.

Glad to hear you feel better! I couldn't catch my breath for almost the whole first month and a half I was pregnant. Part of it was stress too but my ribs hurt to the touch. Pregnancy does some crazy stuff to our bodies!
