Hi everyone, I'm new here, and ever since I found out I've been googling my questions. Figured it'd be easier to join a due date club, plus it's nice to know others who are expecting around your time. :-)

Anyway, I'm a little over 13 weeks, and I have this soreness on the edge of my uterus. Most of it seems to be by the hip, and especially right above my vag (lol). I've had a UTI in the past, so I know it isn't that. Does anyone else have this? I went on the stationary bike for the first time in a couple weeks, and it basically started up again after doing that. They don't hurt, but I would describe it as uncomfortable. It did wake me up a few times last night.

Someone I know is due in 2 weeks and said it sounds like Braxton Hicks. But I don't feel any contractions or anything. Ugh, another thing to worry about, lol. I'm just hoping it's simple stretching.

I'm not 100% but it's possible it could be round ligament pain. But usually that only happens to me if I move faster than I should and I pull at something. Sneezing does it as well.

I'm not sure about a dull ache though.

My uterus and surrounding areas is pretty sore feeling too. AndI'm noticing the pulling pains on the side when I get up from a sitting position. I checked this morning and I'm only 11+4 and my uterus is at my belly button when laying down. So I think rapid growth is my problem but you're soreness sounds really normal at this stage.

Trying to get a hold of my obgyn who comes in soon. My midwife friend got back to me and said it's my uterus expanding.

I feel soreness, like today, where I think it's my uterus growing. Makes my hip and back sore sometimes as well. I feel the sharp round ligament pains when I sneeze, cough, or stand up with turning around (like I do from my desk).

I was sore today too for a couple hours but only on one side. I was told I have a cyst on the right side and attributed it to that.

Welcome btw

All you ladies are summing up exactly what I am going through too. Relieving to hear it is such a common thing to feel. I don't remember this last time being so sharp at times. And but, when I have to poop and I wait a minute too long, I get really painful, stop me in my tracks cramping pain that lasts maybe for 10 seconds and then is gone. Oh and if I stretch back to crack my back, i get a shooting pain too. I know drinking more water is supposed to help but I have been drinking tons..I think.

Thank you for my siggy Jaidynsmum!

Thanks for the welcome.

I finally spoke to my obgyn. He said it's most likely round ligament pain, and don't be surprised if it gets worse. Oh great! lol, but comforting to know it's normal.
