I read that the multiple trips to the bathroom should have slowed by now until it resumes in the third tri, but mine seems to be picking up! Now in addition to getting up a few times a night, I'm hitting the bathroom during the day more frequently, too.

What gives?! It's definitely not a UTI, I'm actually peeing and not just having the urge to go.

Weird! I'm weird in the opposite way though, even when I was 9 months with DD I didn't have to use the bathroom in the night as long as I didn't drink before bed. I pee all the time during the day but that's because I try to drink a lot.

Are you taking in a lot of fluids? It's varied with my other pregnancies. Unless you notice the pain of a UTI, I would think the amount of fluids you're taking in, you should be fine. Maybe mention it at your next appt if you're really concerned. But pregnancies aren't textbook, none of mine did what all the books said haha.

Unfortunately this past weekend, I did end up with that dreaded UTI. Came out of nowhere!

Ugh I'm so sorry, I hate when UTIs hit you like that. It's the worst.

You know, I don't feel like I'm drinking much more than I usually do. Not enough to warrant this many trips to the bathroom (4x a night?) I was expecting more ladies to still be dealing with this, so maybe I should bring it up.
