I went on the elliptical at the Y for 20 minutes on Tuesday and 30 minutes yesterday! Woohoo! I normally don't exercise but I don't want a repeat of gaining 75 pounds with DS, so alas- here I am. It's making me feel great mentally and physically.
I walk about an hour a day...at least when it's not raining. I've been trying to do prenatal work out dvds on youtube but often I don't have the motivation so I only end up doing that a couple times a week. I know that exercising is great and could help labor be easier but it's hard when I already feel so out of shape.
i am. im doing pilates and a basic workout both are prenatal. I'm doing about 40 minutes every other day. I wish I could say its slowing my weight gain but its not..I'm still gaining too fast and not eating junk. I'm not over eating either so I'm just at a loss. I've gained 65lbs with each kid and I think i'm heading that way this time too.
So far my body measurements (Except my waist and boobs) have not changed but as of this morning I've gained 14lbs.
I get a fair amount of walking in when I'm at work but I definitely haven't done anything. I think I am leaning more towards getting yoga videos and doing it at home instead of going into a class a paying a bunch of money. And then hopefully soon I'll be getting a membership to a rec center so I can goooooooo swimming!
I coach Jr. High cheer twice a week and we are learning a dance so that's a little cardio and we do yoga and stretching to end practice. I have a stationary bike in our bedroom and it is hit or miss, usually a few times a week. I am supposed to stay under 15lbs instead of gaining my normal 60ish. So far I haven't gained anything but i havent weighed myself in a couple of weeks. If I had too guess, I'm up 4 or 5lbs. I'm thankfully not craving junk and I seem to get full really quickly.

I do an hour long full body workout M-F. I teach 4 of those days. So I am not working out quite as hard as the one day I get to participate, but I am still working out on those days, its just not as intense. I am a pre/postnatal fitness instructor, so I have to be able to show the ladies that i can still workouy during pregnancy!
yes! usually every other day, 20 min low intensity cardio and alternate upper/lower body weight training. I used to workout 6 days a week but had to stop while cycling.. Now I am just taking it easy. My RE warned against overheating and wanted me to keep my HR under 135.
