I would call the on call doc or the ER doc and see what they say just to be safe. Are you having cramping or contractions?

I have never heard of this, and I agree with the other ladies you should at least call the nurse and possibly go in.

How much was it? I had a little last night- it was more like bloody discharge mucous than the plug for me- how much did you lose? Was it like a clump or just mucous-y discharge? Mine went away after one time and then he's been kicking away all day today and no cramping...I'd say cramping and or more than just a little and I'd call/go to the ER...but I'm paranoid. lol If I had seen the discharge more than once yesterday I would have been at the ER.

I had some at around 13 weeks and it turned out to be a low lying placenta. Baby and I are fine. I would call your doc or midwife and just get checked to see what it is. Bleeding can be normal or can be related to a bunch of different things. Only way to know is to check it out.
