I have had a lot more dizziness with this pregnancy than with my first. I'm wondering if I am anemic. Has anyone else had this? I am going to call tomorrow to have a blood test but I am avoiding it because the lady at my OB can never find my vein!

I get it every pregnancy without fail. But mine is not anemia related. I'd call and talk to them, ask what they think.

Does it come out of nowhere? Are you feeling overheated, or getting up to fast?

It happens out of nowhere like I was in the store with my daughter today and I thought I was going to pass out.

I would most definitely call your doctor and ask them what should be done. I've had that happen when my blood sugar gets low, but during pregnancy, it's not something to take lightly. Mine is because I get overheated. So I'd give them a call, explain what is happening and see what their suggestions are.

Yes I've felt that way twice in the last couple of weeks (seriously thought one time I was going to completely pass out). OB said it is pretty common for this point in pregnancy. Mine wasn't blood sugar related but I was probably a little dehydrated both times and she said that could play a role. My iron levels are awesome as always.

My iron levels are always fine (despitr the whole meat aversi9n thing) and I get dizzy if I get up too fast or if I'm too hot or sometimes randomly. When I say it like that it sounds like lot but it's really not that bad. I've never passed out, just needed to stay still and maybe lean against the wall or something.

I do all the time! I actually have a history of passing out even when I'm not pregnant however the dizziness is exaggerated during pregnancy. I've only passed out once this time around but feel as if I am going to constantly. I mostly notice it occurs more when I overheat like others have mentioned. I really don't know what causes me to because my blood levels are always fine!

I sometimes get dizzy if I get up to fast but for me I think it is related to low blood pressure.

I hope it goes away for you and they can find the vein! They can never find mine either and it sucks!

I would call for sure. You could have low fluid volume if you aren't hydrated enough. When I start to feel dizzy, I try to hop in bed or on the couch and drink a big glass or 2 of water.

I get dizzy whenever I lay down! If I turn over its horrible, getting up is bad too. Sucks! I drink water constantly so I'm not dehydrated...hmmm.
