So I haven't really had any. Didn't think I really would. I like food anyways. The only thing I've really been wanting is spaghetti, which I usually hate. I love pickles, so that hasn't been out of the ordinary. I'll eat ice cream right after I have a pickle. Not unusual, I don't think, because the pickles are not IN my ice cream.

Voodoo Doughnuts just opened here and I am on a big doughnut rampage right now. I love doughnuts and Colorado has been waiting for Voodoo for a looooooong time.
I decided I want a spaghetti doughnut. Nothing crazy. Just a glazed doughnut (can't have a hole in the middle or else it will be too messy) with a scoop of spaghetti and maybe a little meatball on top. Does that not sound amazing!? No, they don't make it. But I will. I'm onto something GREAT here, folks!

It's a little crazy how you can go from hating everything for two months and then wanting to devour everything possibly imaginable.

Anyone else had any 'stereotypical' pregnancy cravings?

Haha I would call a spaghetti doughnut a stereotypical pregnancy craving . My weirdest one had been one particular brand of stock cube (I totally squashed one up and ate it last night bit by bit after making a steak pie for dinner) but other than that it has been stuff like cherry tomatoes, beef noodles and tuna (though not all at once! Ok... the tuna and noodles are totally together half the time ).

Sweets for me. And that is REALLY strange. I am a salty girl. I LOVE popcorn. Can never get enough of it. But right now...I want cookies, pie and cake over popcorn.

Oh and good smelling lotions. I am obsessed with smelling good...lotion, perfume, body wash...

Mom to Ava (8) and Layla (6). Bennett Scott due May 19, 2014!

I did have a craving for latkes with cream cheese earlier this week, but I did not indulge. Now it sounds awful, but that day.... Otherwise I haven't had crazy cravings, just cravings for something specific.

It's kind of hard to plan for cravings. I mean, you go grocery shopping for everything for a typical person...but then you have a craving for that one thing you didn't get.
Is there anything you guys buy extra of or buy just because you know you might possibly maybe end up really wanting?

The only weird craving Ive had was I really really wanted something sweet, and all I had was frosted mini wheats, and well I didnt have any milk but I did have whipped cream from thanksgiving. So I mixed the two together and it was wonderful!!!! Other than that Its just I want random stuff, like french fries and ketchup (I dont like ketchup) or pancakes and syrup (i also dont like syrup)
