Ok, I gotta get this baby named! I think we will bond better with him and it will seem more real when I can call him something official other than DD's nickname for him: "Baby Star."
So far, we can agree on: Benjamin Cruz C_______ (Hispanic last name)
DD's name is Bria (Briana), so it would be Bria and Ben. My hang up is that I have a step cousin named Ben (that I never see) and it's too popular on the charts. Obviously, Bria isn't common at all, and that's why I like it. I chose Cruz because we have a Hispanic last name and it's gives it that Spanish flare so it's goes together and it's not popular so he can go by Cruz if he chooses to when he's older.
Other option is Benjamin James (James being my maiden name), but initials would be BJ!
Honestly, is it a keeper or should we keep looking? TIA!
I love Bennett too, but an old co-worker that I still see on FB named her son that 3years ago when we were preggo at the same time, and I don't care for HER, so I can't use the name! Great choice though! Very cute!
I've given up on the family hang ups, we chose the name Emily for a girl. If this baby is a girl, she'll share a name with my first cousin and a half name with our niece. It's a name I've loved for years and always went back too, I can't get past it. So we let go of the closeness of our families and just went with it.
I like the Benjamin (adore this name!) Cruz. It's different but not so much
