I've really not had cramping at all throughout this pregnancy.

Today I've had cramps all day, and my lower back hurts. Although I woke up with my back hurting, and that's not abnormal, pregnant or not.

It's pretty uncomfortable; I feel like when my period has just started. But I'm not bleeding and the baby is kicking and moving around today.

I feel like I'm drinking enough water, but is there something else I should be trying?

I had some uncomfortable cramping last week and I think also the week before. It is unnerving but I believe it is normal. If it ever gets worse than period cramping I think you should be seen. Have you tried taking a warm bath or shower? If that helps it then it is probably just normal cramping but I hope it goes away soon! I hate it when I get cramping because it still worries me.

I read once that it is common to have cramping around the same time every month that you would have gotten your period. Not sure if this is coincidence or not but I have noticed this pattern.

I had some not so nice cramps that felt like period cramps. It freaked me out but then ended up going away after a few days. I think stuff went through a growth spurt maybe? Was a first for me

I've had lots of cramping with this pregnancy -

A LOT in the first trim with a growing belly ... and every time I feel like he is stretching me out it happens all over again. The back pain as well too! Lower back pain is a killer at times.

The past couple of days my round ligament pain has been so bad it's hard to turn around in bed, or even just simply walk. It's better today, BUT yes... as long as you aren't bleeding I think it's pretty normal.

I had some terrible cramping and pressure yesterday. It was only when I was standing and moving around, though. If I was sitting or laying, it didn't hurt. I told my husband it hurt so bad that if I were further along, I would have thought I was in labor. I haven't really gotten up and started moving around today…I'm really hoping it's gone, cause that was scary yesterday. Bennett was all over the place though, so that really helped to ease my mind.

Thanks for the help! My uterus wasn't getting hard with the cramps, at least from what I can tell. Thankfully it only lasted that late morning/afternoon and then went away. I hope it doesn't happen too often, it makes me nervous.
