The last couple days Ive been crampy, tired, (kinda grouchy) and baby has much less active. I've barely felt her. I mentioned it to my doctor yesterday. The ultrasound showed she was sleeping and looked great so he thinks shes going through a big growth spurt the last couple days. NOOOOO!!!!! I already feel huge lol!!!! Anyone else notice their wee ones getting quiet right before they grow? Its kinda stressful having her go quiet all of a sudden but the ultrasound showed me a healthy baby so I feel a bit more at ease

I had a few days that he wasnt kicking like he has been and i was getting worried for sure. I think what happened is he moved a bit and got into a different angle that was more comfortable for him. He has been kicking again off and on but its not always in the same spot now like it used to be. i think he got strong enough to start doing flips or something lol

Yep, we've had a few days like that. I take it for being a growth spurt because I get very tired as well. Then the next few days he kept moving like crazy.

It's so hard to not worry though, I do it my whole pregnancy each time.

I was just reading about kick counts (picking the same hour each day and counting 10 distinct kicks/punches/rolls/movements in that time) but it's not until 28 weeks that doctors say to start that. I wouldn't worry too much -- like PPs said, it's probably baby placement or growth spurt. Guess it doesn't hurt to monitor kick counts for peace of mind? I've noticed that when I'm more constipated or more bloated with gas, I feel baby less. There could be no correlation whatsoever, but maybe baby has less room to move.

Yes, little girl was very quiet earlier this week. I was getting a little worried, but last night she started up again and has been crazy today! I feel like she may have changed position, like Nel said. The movements are in different places than before. My midwife also said there's usually a growth spurt around this time, so it could be that, too!

I would say my little guy is still fairly active. A bit less but the most notable is that he's not as violently active anymore. I feel him heaps but it's a lot more gentle. I think he's trying out head down every now and again though because sometimes I feel like a cowboy or something with how I want to walk thanls to him being so heavy and so low and his feet up there kicking my ribs. Wasn't like that when he was sitting breech lol.

She's never been a big kicker or mover, but I still feel her often, it just seems very gentle. Maybe she has less room?
