I will onky have my husband. It's how it has always been. Plus whatever staff. Before it was my midwife and her student as well as another midwife.

It will only be my husband. He was deployed when I had our first, so he has only been here for a c-section. I'm anxious to see how he reacts to a VBAC and seeing a real birth!

Whatever staff need to be there...and DF and my sister. That's it, that's all. Maybe some family can come in for a TINY bit if I feel up to it. But otherwise, that's what the waiting room is for!
And since I'm planning for a water birth, I really don't want other people in there. I just wanna be left alone with my tub. Too many people that want to talk too much...does not sound like a fun time.

Well while I labor it will be my in laws, my husband and son, possibly my husbands brother and his wife depending when I go into labor. When it's time for the actual delivery it will be just my husband and mother in law.

During labor it will be my husband, mom, maybe DS depending on when I go into labor(if its after school is out for the summer) and im sure my grandma will stop in to visit and see me. For the actual delivery part of it, it will only be my husband and my mom and whatever staff is necessary.

possibly my cousin who does photography(she is doing my maternity pictures) because she is starting to do birth photography and I think it would be really neat to have it done!

My hospital has the typical 2-3 person limit, so it will be DH and my mom while I labor, and rotating my sisters and MIL out as the 3rd person. For delivery, probably just DH and my mom. I don't know how I'd choose between my two sisters.

I hope MIL isn't around much. She is really intense, talks a lot and elevates stress levels. She means well, but is not a good person to have around for medical emergencies.

We've decided to let my daughter watch. She will be almost 10. She is really excited.

And then DH, my mom, and MIL. I would love for it to be just DH and I but I think it's such a cool experience that I want the moms to be able to see.

If possible I would like DH and my best friend (also the godmother) to be there but for that to happen her mom would have to come too (they are flying over from the states). Her mom wants to come (she is like a mother to me) but it's not set in stone. Otherwise my bestie will be watching DD so it will just be DH and me which is also fine. That's how it was last time as at the old hospital they only let you have 1 person there. I may end up with a section anyway in which case hopefully DH will get to be in the operating room.

I would love to have my daughter there. She is 12, but I think my hospital will allow 14 and older

I hope to convince them since this is the last baby.

Labor at home = My mom. DH has always been at work when I go into labor so my mom comes over just in case the kids wake up or I need to get to the hospital.

Labot at hospital = My mom & DH are in the room the whole time only leaving if they need to sleep or eat....the smells of greasy foods and snoring annoys me the most during labor. Everybody else is in the waiting room. (My boys can come and go as they please)

Delivery = DH, mom & my cousin (like a sister)...last delivery my 2 sisters snuck in as well

Just hubby and my mom for delivery (unless a c-section, of course, then hubby and my midwife will come in). I don't mind my dad or mother-in-law coming in during labor, but dad will most likely have our son at his house and last time mil didn't make it until after. But absolutely no mil during delivery, she stresses me out!

Totally up in the air. DH is gone every other week for work. More concerned to have someone to stay with the kids and someone to drive me to the hosp.

Just DH and staff. No visitors from the second we check in until after DD visits the new baby for a bit. Which will be a while. DH will be there for delivery then run back home (45 mins away) and get DD then bring her back to visit. THEN we will allow visitors. Ive been really firm about this from day one. With DD I had to get my psycho MIL escorted out of the room because she arrived as soon as I went into labour and refused to leave. Nobody comes this time. Although I fully expect a c section so it should be a lot easier to enforce this time.

Last time we had nurses in training too and they were great when I was in labour but when **** hit the fan and more people came running in they were not real calm and freaked me out. So no trainees this time either.

Labor, I'd rather not have visitors. I stressed too much with my first in the hospital and after that experience, I just want it to be my husband and I plus whatever staff has to be there. That's it. My nerves will already be on high, I don't need/want anymore added stress.

I hope to labor at home as long as I can, but after how short my last labor was, we don't want to risk too much time at home. So the boys will be around, but we'll call which ever set of parents to come pretty much as soon as we know it's true labor. My oldest does not handle seeing me in pain very well.
