I plan on using wool soakers during the night for Ben. I have been blown away by the prices, even on Etsy. So I went and bought wool sweaters from Goodwill and made my first soaker today! I LOVE IT! I practiced on fleece before I did the wool. Just need to lanolize it now! I can't wait to make more!

I'm really not that crafty and I pretend I know how to use my sewing machine. I think this is the first time one of my ideas came to fruition without me giving up! But what a money saver this is going to be!

Looks great I love making my own soakers. I make mostly fleece but I'm planning on hitting up goodwill again for some more wool sweaters.

Wool soakers are just SO much better than fleece, its not even comparable

I used Katrina's pattern…here's the link.

I bought a few more wool sweaters today…They are in beautiful shape. I'm going to attempt longies out of them and I'm not going to felt them.
