Sleeping like crap? I wake up every two hours and sometimes can't fall back asleep for at least an hour. Definitely do not wake up feeling refreshed... I guess this is really the home stretch!

Yup, and my 3 1/2 year old has been sleeping crappy as well. So I've been up with him between my crap sleep. Turning hurts so much, having to pee takes 10 minutes to just get up and out of bed. Gah!

Yep- I wake up constantly to roll over and pee and I have to make a real effort not to let my mind start wandering or I'm up for hours. I'm almost pretty sure that waking with baby isn't as bad as this...

I don't remember it being this bad with my last pregnancies. I feel like the little sleep I am getting can't be worse than having a newborn....

I've been like this my whole pregnancy. I think it was worse for me in my 1st trimester but the 3rd tri is still bad. I feel like as soon as I finally doze off I wake up to the urge to go again!

Our body's are preparing us for the late night wake-ups of a baby

Surprisingly the late night wake ups were my fave bonding times with baby #2.

The waking up to pee irks me so bad! I never get up in the middle of the night when I'm not pregnant. She seems to always sit on my bladder and I feel like I have to go 24/7!

Oh yes, I get maybe 1 or 2 nights of decent sleep a week. Baby is laying in a painful position lately.

Definitely! I haven't had a good night in a month or two, I've had bad insomnia and can't get comfortable.

I'm up at least 2 times a night to pee and every time I turn it's sore and uncomfortable. I'm right there with you ladies. I totally agree that waking up to a newborn will be so much better.

Nature blessed me with a bladder that can make it through the night during the whole pregnancy but I can't even take advantage of it because I set my alarm to do blood sugar checks on the both of us at 3am. Usually I can fall back asleep right after this but not lately :/ Last few nights I've been up an hour or more. Sometimes I also have restless legs which don't help!

I remember waking up with DS when he was a newborn, and everything was fine and dandy then. Change a diaper, nurse, straight back to sleep. Some days I just can't wait to get this kid out of me!

I have been sleeping ok I realize that having the window open and the fresh cold air coming in helps us all sleep better so that's what we have been doing

I am tired of constantly waking up to pee! Then I go back to bed, and as I try to fall asleep I feel like I'm starving. Last night I woke up to baby trying to escape out my rectum! Well, at first I suspected hemorrhoids, but I figured if that was the case I should have felt them during the day if I had developed any. Then I thought it might be the crohn's, but mine isn't in the large intestine, so that couldn't be it. Then I realized the baby was putting a tremendous amount of pressure in the wrong spot. I tried everything to get her to move. Anytime I made a move it was excruciating. Half an hour later she finally moved and I went back to sleep. I really wish she'd leave my privates alone!

I have a really weird nighttime issue. I fall asleep at about 1030 and Im out cold until about 630. But I sleep in the exact same position the entire night. Curled up on my right side with my arm up under the pillow. I don't move a bit. So when I wake up every morning I just want to cry Im in so much pain. Every muscle screams in agony and my bladder feels like its going to explode. So for the first half of the day Im sore, grumpy, and my neck is kinked so it feels like I have jackhammers going off in my skull. Its seriously the stupidest problem ever but Im getting too good of a sleep! lol
