32 week appointment today.

Went well. Baby is still head down, heart rate stable, no weight gain, but I did have prehypertension....136/88.

OB didn't seem concerned though? Should I be?

How much higher is that than your normal b/p? If it is just a little elevated over your normal level and you aren't having any other concerning signs: headaches, vision disturbances, sudden swelling (face or hands especially), etc then I wouldn't stress too much. But you should definitely keep a close eye on it. She should have given you pretty strict instructions though on what to do if it keeps going up or you have any of the other pre-e signs.

If you have a blood pressure cuff at home I would just randomly check it...or if you don't some pharmacies have machines that will automatically measure you. I don't think 1 isolated high bp is much to worry about though, as long as you aren't having other symptoms like protein in the urine.

I haven't been checked for protein in urine. My bp has been in the 120s/70s range this pregnancy. It jumped once on a really bad day in the 5th month but was normal after that.

The other day I had a dizzy/black spots spell but it went away quickly, with in seconds.

my midwife told me that as long as the number on the bottom is lower than 90 than everything is ok. 88 is getting close... Are they going to get you to monitor it at home? Did he tell you what to look out for symptoms wise?

Nope. Nothing. But I am going to monitor it. If I feel off at all I'll be heading to a store to check my blood pressure.
