I'm going to head to the doctor in the morning. I'm sure I got it from one of my angels at school. Crossing my fingers that's it's just my allergies, bit is there anything indeed to know about antibiotics while being pregnant? Am I playing with fire taking them? Ahh... That's what makes this so much worse!

No your MD will know what is safe to take. I had to take something on my first trimester for a UTI, it's pretty common.

Your MD should know what is safe to take but I always check with my OB just to be safe. Does your OB not have an after hours number you can call? Worst case you can look up the drug online and see what class it is.

Oh man. Hope you feel better soon! Working with kids definitely has it's own set of occupational hazards.
I tell mine, 'sharing is caring...but not with germs!' They've gotten pretty good at keeping their germs to themselves.

Well it turned out to be a sinus infection instead. I asked the doctor if the antibiotic was ok to take, she said yes. Then I double checked w the pharmacist, he said yes. Then I, like a crazy person, called the on call nurse at my OB office and she also said yes. I'm finally 90% ok with taking it. :-) hope it kicks this crud soon!
