Nausea when breastfeeding : KellyMom

Every time I have to nurse bebe or pump i get so nauseous.....I force myself to drink large amounts of water during which helps. I was thinking I just hated it so much that I was making myself feel sick.

That is odd, I'll read the info, but is there a way to make it stop?

There are a lot of women that go through this. I think there are 5-6 on my May 2011 IV group.

Definitely real! I get just a little nauseous, if I can distract myself I don't notice it much. This time around I've also been getting the headaches that article mentioned. I didn't realize they were related to nursing!

My mom told me to be prepared for it because it made her so sick to BF me, but I never had an issue! You're definitely not crazy!!

Sorry you're dealing with that! Peppermint oil is supposed to be great for nausea...I don't know much about essential oils but I'm sure there is a lot of info online. Hope it goes away soon for you!

Peppermint oil is not recomended while breastfeeding because it dries up milk supply!
