So the hospital we used does home visits the day after your released. The nurse came around 2 and everything was going great until...she checked his jaundice levels. They were higher than yesterday. According to her machine they were 17.4 but that's an estimate. She called the pediatrician and he had me take Jax to the local hospital for blood work. Had to wait till about 430 when my dad got home. Get there about 5 get the blood work done and head home(about 5 min drive). Not even 10 minutes after getting home the pediatrician calls telling me Jax had to be readmitted to the hospital for a minimum of 48 hours because his levels are to high.
Get here and the Dr tells me his levels are at 21! They were 11 when we left yesterday. So Jax and I are at the hospital and he is on formula until his levels do to 12. So I have to pump and store my milk.
Ds1 won't get to meet his lil brother this weekend after all. But he seems ok.

I'm sorry hun. I've been taking Scarlett outside every day and feeding her every 2 hours becuse her eyes were getting yellow. I'm calling her temporary ped Monday so to get a blood draw. Hopefully her numbers won't be too high.
I hope his numbers go down quickly for you and that he'll be home before you know it.
