Anyone else purchased anything for baby yet?? I didn't till 20 weeks with DD but I broke down and bought some swaddle blankets today...I can't find them in Germany (we are visiting the states right now) and we tried to use receiving blankets/muslin blankets with DD but she always wiggled out of them and got too big for them pretty fast. I bought these blankets in boy-ish colors That's how confident I am we're having a boy...of course if I'm wrong (would be shocked if I am) we will use them for a girl too.

My DS is just under a year, so there isn't much we need, however there are a few things that I wish I had with him that I plan on getting for this one

I don't really need anything unless it's a girl. So I'm not going to buy anything for a while.

I want to but I plan on waiting as long as I can. Maybe after we find out the gender I'll start buying things

I want to start buying clothes already! Is it bad that I'm impatient to find out the gender?!

Nothing yet! I do need somethings since we sold most of our baby items. But since I haven't told the kids I can't really buy anything yet. Once we spill the news I will start looking for the big items we need, hoping to buy nice used items since this is for sure our last.

None a gosh darn thing. My sister has a bunch of baby clothes (I forget where she even got them from) but they were meant to go to our cousins because two of them had babies a few months ago, but she never got around to see them. So now I have dibs on them. And seeing them threw me into the real world. Newborn baby clothes are SO TINY. What in the heck.
A friend also gave us a cute onsie. Other than that, I've bought/got nothing.

We bought a cute onesie after the ultrasound. I'm planning on buying something every week, but maybe the bigger ticket items we will wait a few more months.

I have bought a few boy items. I figure if we don't end up with a boy, then I can regift them. And we are opting to do a gender scan at 15 weeks on our own dime. It will be the week of Thanksgiving...that way we can surprise the family.

No, I wont be buying anything until around March. I may pick up an outfit or two after we find out what we're having but other than that, we're waiting till we are close to having the baby.

This is a good idea! I was *this* close to buying baby boy going home outfit yesterday but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

I got a free nursing pillow, which my pregnant coworker directed me to get. I was so afraid that I cursed the pregnancy by getting something early. But who turns down a free $45 nursing pillow?

I figure we will find out the gender around Thanksgiving. I think with Christmas sales, and after Christmas sales, we may start looking for good deals on baby items. Shouldn't waste good sales .

Broke down and bought some cute nautical Carter's onesies today! Since I'm so certain that it is a boy (even stronger feeling this time around than what I had with my daughter and I was right with her as well) I feel comfortable with it...even if it is somehow a girl I will not hesitate to put her in these. lol I'm not that superstitious but I did think about cursing the pregnancy for a snap minute before buying.

I bought a diaper bag! I had such a hard time finding one I liked last time that i used a Vera Bradley tote, but I saw a smaller one at Target and went ahead and bought it. But if Vera comes out with cute patterns once we know the gender...I may have to return it!

Also bought a gender neutral baby blanket that DD helped me pick out. Still having trouble really wrapping my head around another baby, so I was hoping it would help.
