The beads part made me laugh so hard, but I wouldn't have done so in the moment like your thoughtless nurses!

Glad you hardly had a scratch and that Lily is happy and healthy and feeding well. Despite the fails of the hospital is sounds like you both made it out pretty well xx

lol We survived "Killer General!" I always loved the hospital before, but I will not be making a good review this round! At least not for everyone.

It's hard to get cute pictures of this child! She has a double chin and infant rash now. And she's beet red. lol I love the 2-3 month mark. Babies get so cute when they start getting less red and gain some weight! ♥

I just noticed the blood clots on that first picture of her! Don't worry, it wasn't poop! lol My body cleaned itself out and I got an enema for good measure. I do not like the thought of pooping on the table. I know for sure because while DH is awesome, if I pooped while she was coming out, he would have been a total child about it! Anyway, blood clots. I had so so many of them this go. First day home--of course--I had at least 30 lemon sized clots. I called the hospital to see if I should be concerned, and they told me not for 6 weeks. So I can pass all that for 6 weeks and it's OK? Nurses are too laid back sometimes.

Hahaa, LOVE the revised director's cut story!

Maybe call your OB's office about the clots instead of that stupid hospital!

I know! I think the knot is so neat. I had a friend with a double knot in hers. I wish I could have seen that one. =)

Thanks! We are doing great. PP bleeding has tapered off a bunch, no more clots. Lily is nursing like a champ, sleeping great. It's been pretty easy so far! I'm in for it with teething, I bet. lol

Great story ans she is so cute! I had to kinda laugh about the tub. They built a new hospital herr 2 years ago and I have always wanted to use the awesom jaccuzi tubs they have in every birth room, yeah I get up there and am in active labor and the last thing I want is to climb in and out of a tub. Go figure.
