Dh made chicken chili last night and while I've never had a problem with it in the past, this time around it's given me horrible, horrible heartburn. I had it all night long and have even woken up with it. I had a bit of heartburn when I was pregnant with Betsy, but nothing like this. Please tell me the next 34 1/2 weeks aren't going to be like this!
Hmmm maybe try avoiding and spicey foods, then try them a little at a tine. It could be a fluke thing. With my other two I had heart burn pretty much 3 weeks and up. And it was enough to make me cry! Hopefully it was coincedental and it wont happen much. Hope you feel bettrr!
I had the worst heartburn ever with Ava....then when she was born I looked under her little hospital cap when I finally got to see her and she was as bald as can be! haha
I had nasty heart burn with Seb and he had hair. It surprised me because I'd always hear about heartburn = hair thing and I'd think "I'll have the baldest kid ever." When he was tiny he'd scoot on his back across the floor which rubbed off a lot of the hair on the back of his head so he had all this hair on the front/top but bald in the back. lol
My sister had horrible heartburn with her second (also mostly bald lol) and her doctor said it was safe to take no more than 150mg of an OTC zantac (which is usually one pill), and while waiting for that to kick in you can take tums (the calcium is actually good for the baby).
I've had bouts here and there but really only if I've eaten something with more fat in it. I had my gallbladder out last year, so I think it has more to do with that, but I'm not sure.
