Is anyone else experiencing the aweful metallic taste in their mouth that wont go away? Nothing tastes good and some things just down right repulsive. This is baby #4 and I have never experienced this!

I'll get it sometimes when my sinuses are at war with me but I've yet to notice it so far during this pregnancy. I read that some prenatal vitamins can cause the metallic taste. I hope it goes away soon!

Do you have more heartburn this time around? When I have pregnancy-related heartburn I taste a sort of metallic taste in my mouth. I'd suck on hard candy to make the taste go away or treat the heart burn. My fave heartburn remedy is dill pickles

I don't....yet. But it's what I get with EVERY pregnancy. I HATE it! I don't get sick, but I do get nauseated and that metallic taste in my mouth for the first trimester. There is nothing that I can do to get rid of it. But I drink orange juice, it's about the only thing I can drink with that taste there. Ugh, that is the only thing I hate about pregnancy. LOL

ETA: Oh, and sucking on lemonheads. That seems to help a little. I think it's the acidity in the orange juice and lemonheads that helps.

Yes I have been getting heartburn which I NEVER get. I woke up with it one night around 5/6 dpo and thought what the heck is this??? This pregnancy is so completely different then my other ones.

I will try sucking on hard candy. I tried to do some citric but it didn't go down well. I'm finding baking soda to help with the heartburn, and chewing gum helps with the taste.

I JUST got that today, for about an hour, its #3 for me and omg, bleh! Ive never had it before either, fortunately it went away. Today isnt a great day as far as symptoms go. I cannot stand the smell of coffee brewing, at all!!! I had such bad nausea this morning, then got up to do my dishes, and instant dizziness, then eventually a few hot flashes, then nausea again, and uterus stretching pain, ugg! They house is disgusting and I can just hardly do anything.
