How do you sleep? Side/back/tummy? Has being pregnant affected your normal sleep position?

I am a side sleeper, but in the last few nights, with my lower back pain, which sometimes radiates to my hips, I have been sleeping on my back or tummy, which is highly uncomfortable for me, so I hardly get any sleep lately.

I've been training myself to sleep on my left side. I've been so exhausted at night that falling asleep hasn't been a problem. However, my left arm falls asleep in the middle of the night and I end up moving to my back or right side. I love to sleep on my stomach, but my boobs hurt too much for that!

I'm a belly sleeper hands down but I've been trying to sleep on my side more.

All of the above! Normally I'm a tummy and back sleeper and I still sleep that way sometimes, but I've been trying to train myself to sleep on my left side...which goes numb at a point & I have to find a new position. *sigh*

I'm a belly sleeper! I still sleep on it for now, but I'll change to my side when it gets uncomfortable. Some nights it can be a bit uncomfortable depending on how badly bloated I am by the nighttime. It can cause some pressure.

I'm another belly sleeper, so far I haven't had any issues. I know I'm going to have a hard time sleeping in another position so I'm thinking about getting a pregnancy pillow to see if that will make me more comfortable when I lay on my side

Side/belly sleeper here. So far I have been okay. As soon as I become uncomfortable I am going to pull out the anaconda pregnancy pillow. LOL

I'm a side sleeper and usually burrow into DW's back. She starts 3rds the end of this month though so I'm thinking of investing in a pillow that bends with me so it feels like someone is there so I dont flop around like a fish out of water.

I'm very much a side sleeper but when I was pregnant with my son all of a sudden I started to prefer sleeping on my stomach. Once my bump started to get in the way I went back to side but I was only truly comfortable sleeping on my back. It struck me as strange because I am so 100% a side sleeper. Even if I expect to sleep in something like a car seat or on a plane, I need to twist myself onto my side as much as possible. Which is really hard to do comfortably on a plane seat even if you have nobody next to you and I can't imagine trying it with a stranger next to me.

I've been sleeping on tummy lately, which is unusual for me. I need to start trying to sleep on left side more.

I am a side and back sleeper. The body pillow between the legs will come in handy as I get bigger...I am not looking forward to the uncomfortable sleep to come!

Belly/side sleeper. Although, I haven't been able to sleep on my belly lately because my lower back has been killing me. I've started using my big long pillow when I lay on my side, but it's not helping with the pain.

I am a combo back/side sleeper - I start on my back but tend to have the best sleep on the left side.
